VOLSS ticket was opened to address this issue here was the solution:
We have verified the following using WebDAV view was web folder: 1. 250 small files per folder works (116MB)
2. For larger files over 15.6MB we copied to a new folder this also works but it throws 'An error occurred copying some or all the selected files' but still copies the files across successfully it takes too long 8mins per file 3. For files which are 5MB and over we recommend that the users use ncftp instead
