Generated html file contains 2 blank lines at the top.

Hi all,

I have generated html files using .tpl file. But the html file contains 2 blank lines at the top. I didn't write any code for entering these blank lines. How can i remove these 2 blank lines from the html file?

Check your TPL file, as it is a common issue while generating the output. There should be some space within your TPL and is getting carried in generated file.

The TPL file doesn't contain any spaces.

Yes it does, you just don't know what to look for

Look at the XML statements
[html]

some comment

more perl

data

more data

[/html]

That contains a number of blank lines.

By putting them on 1 line say like this, you remove the blank lines:

[html]

some comment

more perl

data

more data

[/html]

The TPL file doesn't contain any spaces.

It seems so, but it is always there. You would get to know as per experience while working on IWOV products.
