I am working on a requirement to extend the functionality of a 'print' facility which we provide on our site. It works by providing a list of GUID's in a job to a print facilty which we have developed on a separate server. Currently the content for inclusion in the assembeled document is selected from within an application that is deployed to our site. We want to move away from this and allow our users select content for inclusion in the print job as they browse the site, similar to the way in which content would be added to a shopping cart. I was wondering if anyone had any experience with the creation of a shopping cart style of application in a VAP / DPM environment? I have a cookie based solution in mind but wanted to reach out to this community to get any thoughts before starting down this road.
