LDAP, SSL and cert7.db format
Jason0099
I am trying to use an LDAP server over port 636 (SSL). The TeamSite documentation (as well as support) indicates that the CAFile must be in cert7.db format. However, when I generate the db using the certutil command on Solaris 10, it is always generated as a cert8.db format. When I use the cert8.db filepath in user_databases.xml I get the following error when I try and add a user:
ERROR:00001: Failure in operation
the iwtrace.log says:
ERROR: 'Can't contact LDAP server' in binding to (ldap.server.com) on port 636
[Mon Aug 11 23:19:01 2008] ERROR: LDAP Connect() FAILED. Unable to search for user user_name
I have verified the binding credentials as well as the telnet capability between TeamSite and LDAP server.
I am running TS 671SPI on Solaris 10.
Does anyone have any thoughts on why this is not working? Does anyone know how to generate the cert7.db formatted file?
Thanks.
