Can someone please give me the following information.
Does Send&File come with WorkSite license or do I have to get a license for it seperately?
Thank you

Hi ank, if I'm not wrong, the send&file feature is included as a part of the EMail Management module, so I supposed that a Deskite/Filesite license is not enough for using it.

But, the best for answering these kind of thing is Interwoven.

If it comes as a part of EMail management module then why do we need a seperate license for it?

Hi ank, I'm not the best for answering that...

But FileSite and EMail Management for Outlook are separate applications.

Can you please let me know the difference between the two? Does Send&file work with FileSite or Email Management for Outlook?

Hello ank! it is not a simple question....And maybe I'm wrong on something

Sen&File it is based on WorkSite Communication Server, which uses Exchange server for automatically storing the emails in a folder. The folders has assigned one email address and the import process is as you were sending am email to that address.

On the other hand, Filesite gives the user all dms or content management inside your outlook, if you want to import an email into a folder you have to tell the system to do it, I don't know if I'm explaining well... you have to fill a profile, etc ... and this import proccess is absolutely the same for a word document as an email.

Send&File (only for storing emails) improves Communication server because when you are sending an email, it will give you facilities for automatically store it in the correct folder (basing on client, email address, etc...)

I'm not sure if this clarify a bit , I hope so.

The main conclusion is that filesite use a manual proccess and send&file uses the same moment you are sending the email for storing into the correct folder.
