Deploying to New Target folders Everytime

Hi,

We are using OD Version: 6.2.0.0.0 and TeamSite 6.7.1 Service Pack 1 on Windows 2003 Service Pack 2.

The requirement is to deploy content to different target folders daily.
Is it possible to provide the user with an option to select the target folder everytime he makes a deployment??

Yes, through:

You simply need to parameterize your deployment configuration file and provide a means by which the user invoking the deployment can selectively fill in the values for those parameters.

The user wants to choose the target folder (a new target folder for daily deployments) while initiating the workflow, so how does teamsite custom menu come into play?

A TeamSite custom menu item is generally a means of running a custom CGI program. A custom CGI program is just that - custom, CGI - as such it can prompt for whatever information you want it to prompt for and can then initiate any command with whatever arguments you want.
