Hi,
Is there a way that we make notes as an mandatory field only when the user checks a checkbox in the output variable. Currently the notes is an optional field in WF task editor.

I doubt it. I don’t think there was a way in V7, not sure about V8. In V7 the notes API wasn’t even public, so it was very challenging to do anything with workflow notes. Maybe that’s improved. I’d be happy to be wrong.
