How to kill a publishing job by force?

Hi

Does anyone know how to kill a publishing job by force in VCM 7? I have a sub-job in Planned status forever and there is no link allow me to abort it or prunt it. This job jammed the traffic and all newer jobs can not be executed.

I think I’ve got this VOLSS ticket and if so we areprogressing. Need to see logs to determine whether to abort the job or ifa script will be required.

You can clear jobs using "Manage jobs by Site" section from the management console.

If it is not available or if you fail that attempt too, then go to Vignette config console -> Navigate to the Deployment Agent (management or delivery) -> Right Click on the DA and select "abort/abandon". It will ask you to choose between abort and abandon. you can choose "abort" if you want to abort in a controlled fashion. If you want to force abort, then select "abandon". Repeat this until all the suspended jobs get cleared. Check the current job queue length in "Manage Endpoints" of Job console
