Installing VAP 7.4 on Tomcat 5.5.28 or 6.0.24

We have currently VAP 7.2 running on weblogic 8.1 SP6. We are planning for an upgrade to VAP 7.4 and also planning on moving away from wbelogic servers to Tomcat 5.5.28 or 6.0.24 servers.

Is there any performance or any other issues noticed by the Vignette support team for applications using Tomcat ?

We just wanted to know if its right to move towards Tomcat for installing the VAP version 7.4.x

There is no problem running Portal on Tomcat, in fact, this is a very common configuration, so please go ahead and move to Tomcat for your Portal instances.
