Files attached not showing in the worflow

Hi,
I am on Teamsite 6.5 SP2.

As part of the workflow i am creating a DCR in an external task and then attaching the DCR to the workflow.

Now strange thing is that, the newly attached dcr is not showing in the list of files for that workflow.

But if do task->getFiles() it shows me all the files attached.

NOTE: The DCR is getting created properly at the correct location. Everything is working fine as it should be but its just that the dcr is not showing up in the list of files which is bothering me.

Any help ?

Are you trying to see the attached DCR within same external task in TS GUI?

Hi All,

I think i got the issue. The worflow was taking a diversion at the external task where i was attaching the files (This is a parallel task with no further action - A notification email). and i was trying to look for attached files in the tasks which do no succeed the external task where files where attached.

Just for information..files does not get attached even when u do $task->AddFile()...or run clt....when that task is readonly task...i.e. in wft when that readonly attribute is set to true...readonly="t"..or even in worklfow modeler..
Experts correct me if am wrong.... Smiley Happy

That should be true - the files associated with the job should not be able to be affected through a readonly task.
