Coding for FormAPI is done in teamsite and it is included in DCT. So it is run on server,. Then how come is it a client side technology ? I read in a manual
"FormAPI is a client side technology the user scripts that template designer writes are loaded into the web browser and executed by its JavaScript engine"
Pls explain this.

FormAPI is a JavaScrpt injected into Server-rendered Data Capture Form. As such, it gets evaluated by your local browser.
From this prospective (which process/thread runs it) it is certainly *Client Side" Code.

There are two exceptions to this rule, IWDatacapture.callServer and IWDCRInfo.setDCRName. These are asynchronous calls that
spawn new Server-side threads. Please note that even in these cases overall processing starts through Client-side Browser API.
