Ajax call on dcr

Can i use ajax call to read contents from dcr,so that if i make changes in a dcr then on saving it,the changes are automatically reflected on the html page.
Do i need to regenerate the html page again or not?

Few things. I am not being very specific but talking generally.

AJAX in DCT: Callserver is what you would use to dynamically get data in DCTs.

AJAX on site: Dynamically get data for a certain section of page from the server. Which could have been from different sources.

To be able to do what you want, you will on saving/updating/tt_data of dcr deploy the file to the server. There are many things to consider here like if the file is new/incomplete/not prod ready, just to mention few.
