Job Id in Child Wft

I am using IW6.5 on Unix.

Hi,
I am using a nested workflow.I have Job Description field in the Initiation form in the Parent Workflow. I also have Jobs Description field in Initiation form of the Child workflow.
My requirement is to prefill the Job Description field from the Parent Workflow in to the Job Description of the Child workflow once the child workflow is kicked .

How can i get the Jobid of parent workflow in the wft of child workflow so that based upon the Job id i can fetch the Job Description and pass it to the Job Description filed so that the value is displayed in the Initiation form of child workflow.

Any help in this will be appreciated.

Will iwgetwfobj or iwqueryjobs help???

How you do it depends on how you are invoking the nested workflow - if you're using iwwft_compile.ipl from a Perl script - you should be able to pass the information in directly as a parameter, otherwise you might have to wait until the nested job is instantiated, and then look at TeamSite::WFworkflow's getParentTask() and/or setDescription() methods.
