server performance

I am using iwstat command on command line.
How much should be thruput ?
In manual , it is said to be between
200-1000. So how to solve this problem temporarily
(for immediate operations) and permanently ?

Even with this thruput, system is running fine ,
why is that ? In which situation will it slow down
things ?
