Refer to any OD version release notes you should be able to get what you are looking for.I guess question was an interview question to you.. they expect either you know it prior or do some search in the manuals if its (it is) a questionaire.

If you want a good answer then provide the disparate versions of OD you are trying to deploy between. For the most part OD has done a very good job of maintaining backwards compatibility. That being said there are some idiosyncrasies that may bite you. So unless you tell what OS, OS level and OD deploy level you are using for the sender and receiver no one can give you a better answer than RTFM
