xDoc Converter Support for Alternative Text

We are using Content Transformation Services (CTS) to transform Word 2003 documents to HTML.

It is described in xDoc Converter 2.0 reference manual that the alternative text of an image can be obtained in ppXML as the attribute “alt”. However, the attribute “alt” is not created on element “IMAGE” when transforming images from Word 2003 documents to HTML using xDoc template Word2HTMLJ (Word to XML Driver (Java)). Without this feature, we cannot generate HTML that meets our accessibility requirements.

I noticed that there isn't a lot of discussion on CTS, but if anyone has has any suggestions it would be greatly appreciated.
