Error opening NewFromEntry

Hi All,

while opening NewFromEntry i am receiving the below error message.

"An error occurred executing command com.interwoven.ui.formspub.CatTypeListCommand"

Can some one help me out from this problem.

Your DCT is malformed. You need to fix it. Can you post it ?

Hi,
Just for instant check...copy the dct to ur pc...
And change its extn to .xml from .cfg
Now open this xml with IE...I guess it will give error if u have Doctype mentioned in tht..so just comment tht line(Second line after < xml version...)...and open with IE..
It will quickly give you where the error is... Smiley Happy

Did you read the entire error message:[indent]Element type "data-type" must be followed by either attribute sepcifications, ">", or "/>".[/indent]Your templating.cfg file is mal-formed - look for all occurrences of "data-type" and you should be able to figure out which one is incorrect and fix it.

Thanks for your support.

The problem is no space between dcr-type and items-per-page in the templating.cfg,because of that we are getting error.After giving space it's working fine.

I'm glad you were able to resolve the problem.

In the future though, please learn to format your posts correctly when posting HTML, XML, or other types of code. In this case simply wrap the code in [html]...[/html] tags (literally - using square brackets as shown) - and then use Preview Post to verify the appearance before submitting your post to the forums.

No question. We need to have your formatting post updated and pinned up at the top of the forums.

One point I noticed which *should* be handled by the forum software, if you mistakenly start with a close HTML tag instead of an open tag, you really screw up the post (we have all seen threads like that) basically a [/html] without a [html] before it. I thick fingered one post and saw that but was able to edit it and fix.
