where to put reusable xsl?
bertve
Hello,
We would like to move reusable templates to a separate xsl stylesheet and include them in the appearance xslt via xsl:include.
Where would we have to store the separate stylesheets? In livesite_customer_src?
What would be the correct file reference to use in the xsl:include statement?
Thank you,
Bert

the includes use the URL syntax for uniquely naming those includes.
We use the Resolver mechanism the reference these files from the local system.
http://xml.apache.org/commons/components/resolver/resolver-article.html
We use Two formats:
http://www.interwoven.com/livesite
[relative file path].xsl
this url Syntax will pull files from the class path (relative to the com.interwoven package). if you have global static includes you could put them in your customer toolkit and
use this syntax to add them to your xsl. this is one we provide for our OOTB xsl files.
http://www.interwoven.com/custom
[relative file path].xsl
this url Syntax will pull files from the Teamsite work area of current site.

Unfortunately that doesn't seem to work in page layout XSLs...

yes page layout is different that needs to be defined within the livesite customer toolkit. I think this is described in the latest Docs
