Search engine implementation

Hi All,

I have a requirement to implement a seach engine with integration of CMS tool teamsite. Teamsite comes into picture for creation of structured data.

This is totally new requirement for me.Please suggest what all things i need to do to make contents searchable in better way.

Which version of TeamSite?

To state the obvious - installing TeamSite search and reading the accompanying documentation would be a good idea.

I am using TS 6.5.
My requirement is not of teamsite search.
This is separate search engine which i need to implement.

What are you using to serve up your content? (tomcat, iis, coldfusion server.
What format is your content? (html, xml, asp, etc)

Do you want to spider your content via urls or index the filesystem or database?
Is you content behind a login page?
Is your content filtered on a per user basis?

As you can tell, lots of questions to answer.

I use 2 engines for two sites. Dieselpoint and Zoom.
