iwsend_mail and with differents mail server

Hi
I'm using iwsend_mail.ipl to send e-mail notification in a several steps of a workflow.
I've a problem because the TeamSite users have an account in a different smtp server.
For example
User01 with email address user01@email.com on smtserver01.com
User02 with email address user02@email.it on smtserver02.it
May it possible specify a different smtpserver in iw.cfg file?
If doesn't possible how can I solve this problem?

If the mailservers are properly setup - you should be able to send to *either* address through *either* SMTP server.

Using one of your scenarios as an example (SMTP: smtserver01.com):
1) To: user01@email.com - the mail server should process this mail directly - usually meaning that it stores a copy of the message in the users mailbox / mail folder.
2) To: user02@email.it - the mail server should note that the '@email.it' is not "itself" and should then lookup in its configuration files and/or search MX records to find out how to route email addressed for that [Internet] domain. This may result in a direct communication between smtserver01.com and smtserver02.it, or it may result in a series of "hops" from smtserver01.com to X to Y to ... to smtserver02.it. In either case, the message should eventually be received by smtserver02.it where it processes the message the same way as described in '1' above.

You should generally seek to send email to the "closest" SMTP server to the source of the message, and let *that* server figure out how to route the message if it cannot process it directly.

If this does not work at your site, then someone in IT/mail server administration needs to look at the mail server configurations.
