Is there still a JRE version requirement for file import in TS 6.7.1?

This KB article (https://support.interwoven.com/kb/kb_show_article2.asp?ArticleID=57038) references TS6.5 and an issue when running a version of the JRE greater than 1.4.2_10 with the file import functionality in TS. I'm wondering if the older JRE version requirement still exists in TS 6.7.1? I've done some testing and it doesn't appear to require the older version, but I was hoping to get some kind of confirmation if anyone knows. Thanks!

JVM 1.5_05 is what is specified for the launch pad applet which does the file import.

Possibly, there is a non-applet based solution but I haven't looked into that.

Thanks for the reply. Is there a page on the Interwoven site showing the JVM requirements? A couple of the KB articles state to make sure your JVM version is appropriate for your TeamSite version, but I can't seem to find a version requirements chart or anything. Thanks.

FYI, I brought this up to Sunil and Todd at GearUp, they promise that they are researching the dependence on the JVM. I suspect it causes Interwoven as much trouble as it causes customers like us. We can hope that when the new UI comes out, they will have worked out a way to make TS less dependent on the exact JVM level.
