Unable to delete folder from work area
mkbang
Hi,
We are unable to delete folder from one workarea. Whenever after delete we sumit it, it shows us file conflication with staging. We have also tried option with overwrite confliction with staging also but that too is not working.
I have taken latest from staging and tried to delete but still getting the same error message( files in conflication)
We are using Teamsite 6.1.0 and this issue is related to particular one folder only and except this we can delete any folder/file
Please advise how to remove this file conflicated folder from STAGING as well as from WORKAREAS from different user
Thanks
Mahesh Bang

May be you can try deleting the folder by logging in as Admin or Master.

I have tried with Admin as well as Master role as well. but for this particular folder i always get file conflication error. nothing seems working
Is there any way in which we can directly remove entire this folder from staging and all users workarea

folder permissions are same as other folders. I am able to delete other folders. having issue with this particular folder. I guess some kind of file conflication happened , may be because it was tried to delete from 2 users.
Is there any way from where we can directly remove this folder from staging and all users workarea ?

You have a conflict on the delete, try to override the submit from the workflow task. You may also have a stale lock. This has been discussed a hundred times, search the forums for stale locks and you can find some suggestions.

Run a program called iwstalelocks. IW support can send this to you if you do not have it. Pipe the output and then iwunlock the files identified. Your submit will now work
