Control Hub 3.0 User Interface very slow

We've recently upgraded from 2.1 to 3.0 and we are experiencing some slow response times from the CH user interface. So we've added ~10 servers into the managed servers tab within the UI. It looks as though we need to give it about 3-4 minutes before we can see the contents of the UI. I am not sure if anyone has experienced this. When I watch the logs under local/logs/iwui/servletd_out.log it looks as though it is trying to reconnect each of the servers I've added into the managed server tab. See below

I've pulled snipets of the logs so not all the servers listed in the error part will be here. So from my conclusions , it seems as though everytime you access the UI, it somehow tries to establish some type of connectivity with the receivers that you've added in the CH gui. Any ideas why this is happening ? Or is this how the app is suppose to work ?
