Attaching files from different branches

Hi,

I want to attach two files of two different branches to the same task in a workflow.

Please give me solution as soon as possible.

I'm pretty sure that you can't do this unless something new has been introduced in 6.7 which I haven't had the pleasure of working with yet.

Can not be done. Files are attached to the Task with the Path relative to the single "areavpath" Task Attribute.
You can certainly use two Tasks with different areas. Note though that you should have compelling reasons to design
a single Workflow that operates on various Branches

WFs that traverse branches are not that uncommon, as projects get bigger, this requirement is more pronounced. You can do it with nested workflows or with different tasks using different vpath. The deploy task gets much more tricky as someone then will need to deploy from multiple WAs. All of which can be done but is very problematic.

So, unless you really know what you are doing, limit a WF to a single workarea. If you try then plan it out carefully because this will take some serious development and custom coding.
