Script wanted to sync up workareas across stores

I'm at a client site (TS 6.5 SP3 on Windows 2003 EE).

I ran the iwmigrate utility to eliminate Content Store errors. We've been able to bring TeamSite back up, with both the new and the old stores mounted. The new one is mounted as "default" whereas the old one is mounted as "old."

I recreated the workareas in most of the branches.

Unfortunately, despite my instructions prior to arrival, the client did not have all items to be migrated (including FormsPublisher forms) properly versioned/editioned, so we're faced with copying files from the old store to the new store.

Do you have an "iwupdate-like" utility to traverse through the branches of a store, list the modified files in each workarea and apply the modifications (by copying or deleting files/folders) to the corresponding workarea in another store? If so, would you post it here?

Any suggestions are welcome too.

Do you only want to copy modified files to the new store?

If so suggest doing an iwlistmod on each workarea and then performing a filelist deployment to the new store using OD in a fashion that maintains any extended attributes.
