Library Migration Error

Hi,

I now extending the existing dat (e.g Ex1.dat) to create new object model. After i create (e.g new1.dat), i migrate to the library. After that, i found that i need to modify the data length for some fields. So that i chage to the (new1.dat) and make the 2nd migration.

I copy the first batch of files (new1.dat, deploynew1.cmd, ...) and make my own versioning. So, new batch of files are new2.dat, deploynew2.cmd, ...

In the deploynew2.cmd, i change as following
-from new1.dat -to new2.dat

But, the following error occurs.

error: exception=com.imanage.cms.exceptions.library.MigrationException: Cannot migrate.
at com.imanage.cms.t1.librarymigrate.Migrater.migrate(Migrater.java:126) ...

Please tell me the way to fix. Thanks

It's a limitation in MP. You cannot change or delete existing fields; you can only add new ones.
