Hi,

we need to hide a text field CCE attribute in the content editor form for all users

Is there any OOTB vcm group which represents all users? so that we can add this group in Authorized Groups tab to hide the widget

In the CCE functional doc, it is mentioned that value should beVgnAllUsersGroup in Authorized Groups tab for all users , however it looks like VgnAllUsersGroup doesn’t work

Looks like you would like to hide a TextField CCE attribute from all users, then why don't you map that specialattribute to Hiddden CCE, don't know the business logic just my 2 cents!

Hi Selvi,

Yes, we can use hidden CCE to hide , however for some text field CCE widgets we like to display attribute as read only for all users ,so even for "read only " we need to have a vcm group in Authorized Groups tab to display it as read only for all users.

Important remark: 8.1 understands VgnAllUsersGroup as an argument of the Authorized Groups tab in the CCE widget config. So you can make any CCE widget read-only to everybody by specifying that value in the field.
Notice that, this group didn't use to be recognized in earlier releases of the vcm.
