The method getSiteName() of the class AsManagedObjDeploymentEvent returns null

David_GarcAa_GonzAlez

I am calling the method getSiteName() of the class AsManagedObjDeploymentEvent in a listener, but it returns null. The event of the listener is an isntance of the class AsManagedObjDeploymentEvent also, in concrete, it is a publish or unpublish event to a delivery stage.

What could be the problem??

 AsManagedObjDeploymentEvent.getSiteName() is null.

The version of VCM is 7.5

Thanks.

This is a long-standing bug that’s hard to fix, because the sitename isn’t included in the deployment message to the DA that triggers thatevent. The best workaround is to add a listener for the JobStart event (see thejavadoc for AsJobDeploymentEvent), which does have the site name available, andthen squirrel that away someplace where it can be found by your subsequentevent listeners.
