Schedule Un-publish date....

Hi all,

For some reason, we have to do the bulk update of schedule un-publish date of content items. I know that we can do a CIDBQuery and modify all CIs. What I wanted to clarify is that, do we need to publish all these CIs for making these modification effective?

But, as far as I understand, this date is only available in VCM system and should not need CIs to be published again. Just wanted to get confirmation from experts or be corrected.

If the contenit instances that'd be impacted by this change are currently published, a re-publish isn't required. However, if they are already unpublished based on the unpusblish date that was earlier set - a valid publish date needs to be configured to enable publishing.
