Hi,We have a multi-tier transactional deployment which has started failing recently. The first tier deployment creates a core dump of around 3GB (occupies 80%of the space available on middle tier server) under the root(/) of the second tier and eventually the middle tier server goes down and the deployment fails. To avoid this, we were deleting the core dump and restarting the services of OD on middle-tier everytime this was happening but now this has started occuring very frequently and we need a permanent fix for this issue. We made this deployment as non-transactional and so far this issue of core dump has never surfaced again.Does anyone of you have also faced similar issue and can anyone explain what could be the probable reason for this.Thanks,Natasha.
Which OS and OD Version? Attach your deployment log file when it is transactional deployment.
If you're getting core dumps from OpenDeploy, you should open a case with Support and work with them on getting the core file to them so that they can diagnose why the core file is being created in the first place.
