mySQL for Event Subsystem and OD ?

Looking at using mySQL for the Event Subsystem DB along with the OD Reporting and scheduling.

Release notes and guides state that it is suppported. Looking to hear from the experts.

Not sure what the Eventsubsystem default DB is. Do you know?

Hypersonic is the documented OD database. It has always seemed to be fairly reliable; however, I don't think it is the same as the event subsystem default.

Depends on your rev of TS. 6.7.1 SP1 has started to ship with Derby, which can be used as the DB. The hypersonic DB is there, but it should not be used as a production DB. People who do are in for a world of hurt eventually. I have used SQL Server and DB2. I know many people use Oracle out there. MySQL has been supported for a while so there should not be many issues with it either.
