Request for recently view pages

I've got a request from the business to include a portlet that shows the users recently viewed pages. We're using Vignette Portal 7.4 and Vignette Community Services for some rating and commenting features.

Is there a simple or recommended way of implementing the functionality of recently viewed pages?

Chris,

VCS allows the functionality regarding how many times a page is viewed, but it does this by keeping running totals. A list of the recently viewed pages of a user is not stored anywhere, so the first obstacle you'd have to overcome is collecting and storing that information somehow. After that retrieving it would be fairly trivial.

You might want to look at using a customized grid or secondary page to collect the info.
