Is there any way to duplicate / clone an entire site with other name in order to use in the same VAP installation?

There is no site templating feature in 7.4.2.

What is the purpose of cloning?

1) Do you plan to use sites as templates, i.e. a site that will be cloned over and over to create new sites? If so, then the 8.1 templating feature is the only thing that provides that functionality.

2) Is this a one time only clone? If so, you can probably share most of the components from the first site to the second and then manually add the settings and other unsharable features.

3) Is the clone for development of the first site? The best option there is to have a separate development machine running portal and do the development from there, exporting and importing the site between machines.
