Changing DTD from 4.5 to 6.0

Hi,

We have recently migrated to 6.7.1 from 6.1. Some of the existing DCRs have dcr type as iwov and have dtd as 4.5. So, if we will change the dcr type to xml in templating.cfg and dtd to 6.0 in datacapture.cfg, and open the existing DCRs and save them, will it result in loss of data present in the previous DCRs.

Yes - that's true.
If you search through the forums though, especially the FormsPublisher forum, you'll find a number of threads discussing the techniques that can be used to convert from "iwov" to "xml" -- I suggest you start by looking for that information and then, if you run into problems trying to follow that information, post again - in the proper forum.
