Only Payload ID is sent in Workflow generated email

Hello,

Currently, when we initiate an email from within a workflow, it only emails the Workflow Payload ID to the recipient. This information is useless to an end user. Has anyone figured out a way to access more useful information to send in the email? Information regarding the actual content item would be much more helpful.
