external attributes

Hi evryone,
I just wanted to know wheter my understanding external attributes concept is right

by using iwattrib we can find out the teamsite assocaited metadata about file,directory...

and the external attributes for the files of the form

TeamSite/Templating/PrimaryDCR

we should assign/delete proper values to them using iwextattr

well, iwattrib does not return you external attributes. iwextattr does, of course.
