Task transition

TeamSite 6.5 Sp3:
I have created a wft that has multiple approvers. All the approval task are group task sharedby list of approvers (student01, student02 and student03). The task transition works fine. Here I am using etc/group and the above approvers are added to a group.

TeamSite 6.7.1
I have the same setup as above, the only difference is, I use tsgroups.xml (located under iw-home/conf), but once in the job sent for approval, I do not see the task (logging in as student01). I the log I see the owner of the approval task is student01.

Any clue?

Without seeing the code - not really. My guess would be that maybe some aspect of your processing of the tsgroups.xml file is causing issues - but that's just a guess. You need to add a bunch of debugging to your scripts and WFT (are you still using a WFT or did you reimplement as a WFM?) to figure out what's happening.

Thanks for your comment fish. This is what I am doing in my script to validate if the user belongs to the group.

Not sure what I am missing, it always print the error, even if the user belongs to the group that are listed in $ts_groups

I did manage to get this work with changing the if condition as below:
