Data deploy does not deletes the records

When I delete the DCR & execute the Data deploy, the rows were not deleted in the DB. The deployment runs fine and log also does not has any error in it.

Attached the ddcfg filefor your reference.

Note: This workd fine for both new & updated DCRs.

Any one has faced this issue? pls help

DD will typically remove the records. Post the logs that are generated from this deployment.

I found a workaround, if you/anyone have a better solution please share.

DD insert/update/delete the records in DB, with reference to the primary key of the table. In my table I keep PATH as primary key so that it will not make a entry in IWDELTRACKER table. So when I delete a record and run the DD, it does not see the Primary key to insert/update/delete operation.

So my workaround to fix this was to keep the DCR element in replicant with min="0" and max="1"(since I have only one). If I want to delete the record in DB, I keep the replicant value "0" (zero) and save the DCR, beacuse of this my primary key does got deleted. Now by running the DD it deletes the records in DB. After Then I remove the DCR.

you need to set delete-tracker="yes" for deletes to work.. and I attached what I believe would be the correct DD Config.. I have not tried it.

did you try to deploy it first (not as a delete), so it updates the iwdeltracker table, and then do the delete and push the deleted DCR?? since it was not in that table to begin with, it technically wouldnt delete until you repush it the 2nd time

I did that also. For your sake I will delete the 'iwdeltracker' & mytable in DB and try from first.

Before that frequently I get 'Get Path failed' error(DD fails) & 'No DCR's found' statement in log(DD success). But rows not getting created in DB. I searched on this Forum, experts says that only restarting OD resolves this. So right now I am restarting OD. Do you have any input for this?

I think their is/was a patch for the No DCR found.. did you contact support about that? I think I had a similar issue, which was resolved with the patch..

also, have your tried setting real-update to no? and can you post the DD log file when your delete "fails' (i.e. goes thru, but does not delete)

are you using DAS or standalone deployments, since I see the iwtracker table, I am thinking your using DAS, have you tried standalone?

your not getting the IWDELTRACKER table in your configs, so without PATH it wont be able to do deletes.. for the most part, you either use a PATH columng or IWDELTRACKER

DD creates the iwdeltracker table when we use DBSCHEMA node inside the database. When we use SELECT & UPDATE node inside database node it created the iwtracker table.
