Hello,

I was wondering if anyone's seen this error before? if yes, how can I solve it?

Thanks for your reply, we get this message everytime we start a transfer from the sender (We have a set of about 10 files and they all give the same error and each transfer files point to the same target so I'm wondering if the issue could come from the receiver..?)

can you send all the logs?

Unfortunately I can't send them... But I have checked the logs various times while trying the different transfers and this is all I seem to get..

The transfer starts off ok, does the checks for service and so on and then it just crashes and outputs the error message in my first post.

Also, I have noticed the logfile for each transfer does not get updated, only the main OpenDeploy log file ( OD.log )

I'm sorry, I can't send any detailed information such as the config files, logs.. as it's confidential data..

your error message showing error in the config file...what type of deployment u've configured?is simulation working?

It would be good for Devnet users to help you if they can have your logs & config file atleast .. if you say its a confidential data ... you can atleast take the logs replace your servernames and any confidential data before you attach here .. otherwise if you think that is not possible then you can contact Support

I don't think the problem is coming from the transfer configuration files because everything was workring fine before for many months until yesterday. We think the receiver was commiting the information that it received and got into some sort of a hung up/timeout state and since then, impossible to start transfers from the sender to the receiver again.

Unfortunately, the receiver team is not able to tell us more about the receiver state..

Make sure to check the od.log and hostname_odbase.log on the base server - they sometimes contain additional information that doesn't make it to the macro or micro log files.

I have a I posted the only error message I could get..

Meanwhile, the receiver team restarted the receiver and we still get the same answer..

yes, the configuration has been unchanged and worked for many weeks before. it just suddenly stopped. We tired restarting the sender and receiver, but it just doesn't send content

have you tested the connectivity? I mean did you try to telnet to the host at the port that you are using?

-rwxrwxrwx schedDB.properties

doesn't sound too weird to me. however, if you are saying that nothing has been changed, this sound a bit strange. Are you sure you did not run any upgrades of sofware on the boxes?

certainly weird. On our system, this has out of the box permissions:
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 81 Oct 22 2007 schedDB.properties

btw, you never mentioned what OS and what version of OD
