V8.1 - Attempted to commit a ManagedObject proxy that is marked readonly

 We have written a very basic piece of standalone Java code to make some changes to existing content instances.

The appears to work fine up until I commit the content instance, and then I get the following error:

Error 13 (MOCommitError), Message 026-012-0015:

Attempted to commit a ManagedObject proxy that is marked readonly.

 I may just be missing something simple. Any suggestions would be very helpful.

I still have been unable to overcome this issue. Think I'm missing something basic. Please find my code below. If anyone spots anything, please post a reply.
