Turn-off in-context-edit

I have been advised to post this to the DPM/VCM forum.

How can I turn off the in-context-editing in preview mode programatically.

Is there a function that I can call in the grid that will swtich off the editing functionality just like appending vgnextnoice=1 in the url or using editing off from the floating menu. This is needed to send the link out for testing before go-live and we do not want the pencils to be displayed.

Hi,

You can do it by setting some value to the "vgnextnomenu" request parameter. (by simply appending vgnextnomenu=1 to your url).
