Customize Validation Message Bundle - CCE Validation

Hi,

There is a requirement to customize the CCE validation message, such as

to display certain portion of the message in bold
to display the message in two paragraphs

Is that possible to customize teh validation message entered on the Validation Tab of the CCE Widget Definition?

Please advise.

You certainly can, just make your custom CCE bundle availableusing a class loader having higher priority (for instance you can set it in theclasspath of the VCM server).

Can you explain a bit more on this..with an example.

On the validation message tab of the CCE Widget Configuration,

We have the attributes like

Rule :

Check on :

Failure Message : There are two options like (String Literal and Message Bundle Key). How to customize the message if i use the Message Bundle Key.

The customization is like to bold the message. Display it in two paragraphs.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Bhyravi,

I think If you are familar genear Message Bundle, locale properties file concept you should able to do this.

In the message bundle properties file (en_US), in the value part of the key, you can give in HTML. So that it will come in bold and in two paragraphs.
