vfe text is entered outside of paragraph tags

We are upgrading to TS6.7.1 using VFE 5.1.0.43. A new issue has come up when using a datacapture template which has more than one visual format editor field on it. The first VFE field works properly. However, when you click into another VFE field you run into problems. When you enter text it appears to jump down a line in the WYSIWYG view. When you switch to HTML view, you see that the text you entered did not end up between the "p" tags as it should have – instead, the text is outside and below the "p" tags. In addition, a hard space has been entered between the "p" tags. Something like

<p> & #160;*</p>

What I entered is down here

This only happens on DCTs which have more than one VFE editor field on them. All editor fields on a given DCT use the same configuration file. This didn't happen under 6.1 with VFE 4.

Any ideas?

We are also having n-number of such issues with VFE.
Open a case they will investigate it with Ektron (becasue VFE is Ektron's product).

I just saw nbsp inserted into

when there is no text, and it's removed when you type something in. Probably, a related issue.
