JS error in V8 Workspace (both IE7 and IE8) - 'getDomPositionEI().dom.parentNode' is null or not am

Steps to reproduce the issue

• In Workspace, clicked the edit icon for Link List content in v8 . Closed that window.
• Clicked the Properties icon for same content.  Closed that window.
• Clicked the edit icon for the news content / the same Link List content in v8 . The window opened, but I get the javascript error like below.

- 'getDomPositionEI().dom.parentNode' is null or not am object

Please share your thoughts.
