Replace a user in multiple groups with another user

Is there a way i can remove a user from multiple subgroups at the same. and also replace that user with a new user. Basically like a find and replace option. I have a user leaving the company that is listed as 'publisher' in multiple sub groups in the "all users" group. I would like to replace her with the new user in all these subgroups without having to do a 1-1 swap. any suggestions?

This can be accomplished via KMAPI in the following steps:

 

<![if !supportLists]>1)     <![endif]>Gather the old user’s group memberships via “olduser.getGroupMembershipRecursive()”.

<![if !supportLists]>2)     <![endif]>For each group in the returned vector, link the new user intothe group : “group.link(newuser,1)”

<![if !supportLists]>3)     <![endif]>Removing the old user from the groups is slightly more complicatedas the following needs to occur:

<![if !supportLists]>a.       <![endif]>For eachgroup

<![if !supportLists]>                                                              i.     <![endif]>Set the active parent of the user to the group “olduser.setActiveParent(group)”

<![if !supportLists]>                                                            ii.     <![endif]>Remove the user from the group using “olduser.remove(0)”
