Import of Large number of files causing Teamsite to be in dangling state!

Hi,

We are facing a problem with multiple files ( say about 100 are selected) imports into teamsite, in one go. This is causing the TeamSite to hang or dangling state.

Also, we have a workflow that is used to submit and deploy these imports in one go and this results in the same error.

Killing of processes form backend some times restores TeamSite functionality.

I am loking at options to resolve / minimize this issue. Increasing Memory size did not help.

ENV:

Teamsite 6.7.1 on Solaris 9.

Can you confirm that your Teamsite users are on a supported JVM/Browser .
Are all the users/roles facing this issue in that particular Branch/WA/Folder .

I think for TS671 you should be using IE-6SP2/Firefox-1.5 with Sun JVM 1_5_05 or Microsoft JVM 1.1 .

This Problem is faced by almost all users and on most branches meaning .. not an issue with specific branch.

Also, JVM 1.5 is being used.

Is there a specific release of JVM that needs to be used?

Is there a need to chang some other configuration, say the UI client, webapps....
