Session timeout and redirecting to login page

Hi,

In portal, after session expires, if user does any action(clicking on link/button or access a page), user will be redirected to login page. Can this logic will be altered, so that user will be redirected to LOGOUT page( with session expiration message)?

Hello Shridhar,

It should be possible to accomplish that using a custom Log In secondary page for the site.

Here is the logic to check for an expired session.  Note that session is an implicit variable and does not need to be created or initialized.  You can expand on this to achieve the desired end-result.

    <%

        if (session != null and session.isNew()) {
            //expired session
        }

    %>
