while executing the clt command for starting opendeploy getting error

Hi,

I tried to execute the following clt command to start the open deploy

C:\Interwoven\OpenDeployNG>bin\iwodstart conf\test1
and getting the below error message

Locating OpenDeploy service.
OpenDeploy server host: localhost, RMI registry port: 9173
Got OpenDeploy service
>>>>>-- Start deployment conf\test1.
iwodstart running in default synchronous mode.
Need to wait for deployment to complete.
***ERROR - Starting deployment.
Reason from server: SERVER_INITIATOR
Details :

**** ERROR ERROR ERROR ****
STARTING DEPLOYMENTS NOT ALLOWED.
LICENSE HAS EXPIRED OR INVALID !!!

What can be the reason.Can any one help

What OD version/OS are you running ?
What is the status/validity of your OD License ?

Can you check if port 9173 is free or already used through "netstat" .

Check if the Od receiver is installed and running by executing iwodserverstatus on the receiver. This will aslo display the port number that OD is using

od version is 6.1.1

There is no issue regaeding licensing

Do the following:

C:\Interwoven\OpenDeployNG> net stop iwod60
C:\Interwoven\OpenDeployNG> del od.log
C:\Interwoven\OpenDeployNG> net start iwod60

When that is all done - look at od.log - if you don't see anything there - post the file.

this error comes only when the license is invalid or expire.please check your license.you can check the hostname and domain name of your machine against license by using following command-

/jre/bin/java -cp /lib/odng.jar com.interwoven.license.LicInfo -f -p OD
