how to make field (metadata) to be availabe to docuemnt folder search

Hi,

I have created metadata for the folder (WOM). For the advance search, i need to search these created metadata but in the "Field Chooser", folder component's metadata (field) don't show. Can you please tell me the way to fix that?

just wonder no one has faced that problem before. is it not using document folder with WOM metadata? Please help me. i m almost crazy

you have to Create a search selecting the type as folder ,
there you will be able to find the extended metadata for the folder
this created search you can use from the advanced search link for the folder level search

i created new search using 'folder'. But, there is no extended metadata shown in the 'field chooser'. Please see attachment for the screen shot.
