I wonder if anyone was successful in customizing 8.1 Content Workspaces? We are trying to get rid of some buttons in the "ribbon" area (right underneath the header) like "Upload" and "Create Site". Extensibility Guide does talk about customizing Content Workspaces by creating custom theme. So far I was able to create a theme and modify a header itself, however when I apply header custom JSP (which is pretty much a replica of original one) in advised custom webapp the "ribbon" area disappears altogether.
